A   M e m o r i a l
I have no profound words to express adequately what is in my heart.  For the past seventeen years I have had the honor, pleasure and privilege of working with a wide variety of young people.  In those years, there have been a few who have become close friends.  Christopher Pettiet was one of those people.

I began working with Chris when he was twelve on his arrival in Los Angeles.  Chris was one of the finest actors I have been honored to train.  His death is a personal tragedy and a loss to all who had the pleasure of watching him in television and film.  Although Chris did not achieve the fame he desired so passionately, he will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.  There will be many times I will see a film and wonder "what if…….."

Chris' film credits include: Gunslinger, Carried Away, Boys, Point break, Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter Is Dead, Relentless IV, The Last Job, and Sandman.

Chris also worked in many of the highest acclaimed series and films on television including: MTV Undressed, Touched By An Angel, Danger Island (series regular), An Enemy of the People, My Life and Times, L.A. Law, Chicago Hope, Picket Fences , SeaQuest, Empty Nest, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Doogie Howser, M.D., Fatal Exposure, The Young Riders (1991-1992 series regular as Jesse James), The Dreamer of Oz and most recently in a wonderful guest starring performance in Judging Amy.

Thank you, Chris, for allowing me the honor of working with you, the pleasure of knowing you and the privilege of watching your talent in television, film and within my class for so many years.  I will miss your generous and compassionate spirit, your magnificent talent, your fiery passion and most of all…your friendship.
