THE ACTOR' CIRCLE NEWSLETTER
Great news everybody...We are staying open through the holidays. Since the holidays do not conflict with many of our classes this year, and because you guys asked for it we have decided not to close for the Holidays! So our hours for Thanksgiving weekend and Christmas and New Years are as follows.
WE are OPEN Thanksgiving weekend! Class is in session and there may even be leftovers there!
We are OPEN Christmas week and New Years Week with the following exceptions:
We will be closed on theses 2 days only 12/25 and 12/31. We believe that is self explanatory! But we are only closed Christmas Day and New Years Day. Other than that all of our classes are in session.
COMMERCIAL INTENSIVE
The next Commercial Intensive will be on Saturday December 18th from 2 pm-5 pm.
Curriculum: slating, cue cards, spokesperson copy, multiple actor scenes with cue cards, improvisation in commercial auditions. The Commercial Intensive is for all ages from our youngest students to our students up to age 100. This is the only intensive in which we mix the ages as in this intensive we cover auditions in which adults and children work together. This is an important one. Don't miss it!
Cost: $50.00

IMPROV JAM
The Next Improv Jam will be held on Wednesday night December 1st. from 6:30-9:30. The Improv Jam is not a class but a full on Jam. The Jam will be facilitated by Al LeBrun and Marcie Smolin with special guest artists from the comedy community. You just never do know who is going to pop in. Funny people love to jam. This one is for ages 16-adults. We make absolutely no exceptions as it is difficult to "edit" what comes out of comedians mouths! The cost for the Jam is 10.00.
Congrats to all of our students who have been working like crazy. This has been such a fabulous year. We are so proud of all of you.
A special note from your Jewish Mother Marcie...Pilot Season is just around the corner. You be the actors that are prepared. We are here over the holidays. Take advantage of that opportunity. Don't get rusty over the holidays as you know what January holds.
