THE ACTOR' CIRCLE NEWSLETTER
Hello all...I just wanted to take a few minutes to thank all of the industry people who have taken advantage of our open door policy at the studio. We were thrilled to have casting directors, agents, managers, producers and directors sitting in the back and watching our actors. It is so great to see actors do their thing in class in a non pressure creative environment. Our students have both benefited from the knowledge you have shared, and all casting opportunities that come out of it. Thanks for hiring everybody! Because of all of you our Actors Circle actors have had a mighty busy January and February. We continue to encourage all of you to stop in. Call the office and we can tell you when classes are in session!
I also would just like to share with all of you the pride I felt this awards season to see our alumni right in there in the mix. We are so proud of our illustrious alumni and know our current students are next!
In addition to our regular class schedule we do have a couple of special events coming up.
COMMERCIAL INTENSIVE
Saturday Afternoon March 13th from 2:00pm-5:00pm The cost for the workshop is 50.00 for all students. The commercial intensive covers audition technique, slating, the business end of booking commercials, Improv for Commercials and Cue Card technique. This intensive is our only class that is open to all ages from 4-100. We do this in the commercial intensive, because commercial auditions often mix ages and we have found this one day of diverse age mixes to be very beneficial to the actor. IMPROV JAM
Wednesday Night March 17 from 6:30-8:30. Two hours of nonstop Improv Action. You never know what is going to happen. This workshop is open to actors from ages 16-100. Cost for the workshop is 5.00 for the night! We always have guest improvisers coming by.
PRIVATE COACHING
I am available for private coaching 24/7. I am aware that auditions come up at the last minute so know that you will always get a call back within the hour. Rates for coaching are discounted if you are enrolled in class. I charge hourly but prorate to the minute. Charges only apply to coaching time, and time spent in conversation is not billed.
